(432) 274-2151

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 7/9/21

Texas: Attorney Robert White, a trusted personal injury law firm that protects the rights of injured Odessa, Midland, and Texas residents all throughout the Permian Basin, has chosen the winners of its 2021 Fight Against Drinking and Driving Scholarship.

About the Fight Against Drinking and Driving Scholarship

Attorney Robert White and his team are committed to the betterment of their local community and society as a whole. They pour all their effort into defending the rights of Texas residents. They believe the future is up to the next generation of lawyers, politicians, and teachers, and they’ve created a scholarship opportunity to help three students pursue their higher education goals.

The Fight Against Drinking and Driving Scholarship provided three students with $1,000 to apply to tuition or education-related expenses. The scholarship was open to students who have a GPA of 3.0 or better and have been accepted to or are currently attending a two- or four-year college in Texas. Participants were asked to write an essay about how to act when facing peer pressure about drinking and driving in their college career.

The Scholarship Winners

While the Fight Against Drinking and Driving Scholarship received many excellent applications, three students stood out with remarkable essays about how they plan to resist peer pressure in college. The winners of the Fight Against Drinking and Driving Scholarship are:

  • Jordan Fortunati
  • William Riethmayer
  • Sadaka Arastu

Joran plans to earn a degree in Political Science from Baylor University, while William earns his degree in Agribusiness at West Texas A&M University, and Sadaka pursues a degree in Mathematical Biology at the University of Houston.
